As the leader of the department / faculty research group called Water / Wastewater Utilization, my current priority research area is the study of the reuse of greywaters within the possibilities of the treatment of used waters. Based on our results on this topic in recent years, it is possible to implement the reuse of used bathing and washing water at the household level, for irrigation or e.g. for toilet flushing. In our research we try to monitor the effectiveness of the treatment of used waters with modern analytical methods, which can be a good basis for a sustainable water management direction. In addition, we also deal with the possibilities of reusing thermal waters and examining their effects on the environment.
From my previous research, I actively follow the application possibilities and environmental utilization possibilities of biodegradable polymers.
