abstract:
In this paper we set out to report the findings of the first stage of our research project exploring the categorial and functional properties of finite and non-finite embedded clauses in Hungarian in the framework of Lexical-Functional Grammar (henceforth: LFG). We concentrate on the categorial status of non-finite clauses with agreement-marked infinitival heads as compared to non-agreement-marked infinitival heads, abbreviated as [+AI] and [?AI], respectively.
