Államilag elismert nyelvvizsgáztatás: Kik és hogyan látják el a szakmai felügyeletet?

The Accreditation Board for Foreign Language Examinations works as an advisory board for theAccreditation Centre of the Hungarian Educational Authority. The board members are commissionedto establish professional standards for accrediting foreign language examinations, to makerecommendations for accrediting foreign language examination systems and to monitor the work ofthe accredited language examination centres through biannual reviews. In addition to these mainactivities, members of the Accreditation Board also participate in research projects that aim to explorespecific issues of examining foreign languages in the Hungarian context. The article provides someinsights into how the above mentioned activities are carried out.
