abstract:
The authors present new faunistical data on dragonflies collected (larvae, exuviae and adults) and observed (adults) from the backwater ?Nagymorotva` in the geographical microregion ?Borsodi-Tisza-hullámtér` (an active floodplain area of River Tisza in NE-Hungary), over the administrative area of two settlements (Rakamaz and Tiszanagyfalu). This work is the repeated odonatological survey-series which was done in 2009. In the paper publishing the results of previous examinations (DÉVAI et al 2012) the authors presented the methods used in the collection of specimens and in data processing, and introduced the literature they had considered in the identification of species and in reporting faunistical data so they have just referred to these. In this paper they introduce firstly the sampling sites. Thereafter they provide a detailed survey of the collection and observation results from the area and finally summarize and evaluate the data on the dragonfly fauna. Collections and observations were made in 1 year (2019), with the participation of 6 specialists on 12 days and 8 localities, in 1 cell (EU 32) of the 10x10 km UTM grid map. In the report information on 503 specimens (266 males, 230 females, 7 specimens with undecided sex) are given in detail [276 larvae (132 males, 138 females, 6 with undecided sex), 67 exuviae (26 males, 40 females, 1 with undecided sex), 160 adults (108 males, 52 females)], with the observed adults representing altogether 218 faunistical data (59 larvae, 35 exuviae, 94 collected and 30 observed adults). In this study 24 species (10 Zygoptera and 14 Anisoptera) were recorded in the area, out of which 1 belongs to the very frequent, 12 to the frequent, 6 to the less frequent, 3 to the rare and 2 to the sporadic class of countrywide occurrence frequency.
